What is Laser Dentistry?

The emergence of new technology affects every field.  The newest form in the dental field is Laser technology.  These lasers allow dentists to be more accurate and efficient than traditional dental equipment.  Overall they allow patients to enjoy a wider array of benefits, with fewer side effects.

Laser dentistry is provided by specialized professionals to provide more accurate dental procedures, by using these lasers to emit light that transmits heat to the desired area.  There are two main types of laser dentistry, hard and soft tissue procedures.

Hard tissue is used to detect cavities earlier, also used to desensitize teeth eliminating need for traditional anesthetics.  Soft tissue procedures are usually preformed to restore and reshape gum tissue for a healthy appearance.  The cost of these procedures is slightly more expensive because of the more costly equipment.  Some charge by the procedure others by the duration, which is why we urge you to contact your local specialist and see if these procedures are right for you.  There are very few side effects such as temporary redness and soreness after the procedure and rare cases of fatigue after.  Patients undergoing these surgeries must wear protective glasses during the procedure.

These procedures are offered at All Brite Dental Services in West Dearborn and Woodhaven.  Our goal is to listen to you while respecting and educating you on whatever your decision is.  We are so confident in the exceptional level of service and care that you will receive at our offices, that we 100 percent guarantee you will be satisfied with your first visit, or its free.  So, please make an appointment with us for any of your dental needs we are here to accommodate you with a relaxing informative experience!
