Have you been spreading the word about National Children's Dental Health Month? As the month of February comes to a close, we want to remind all our family and friends on the importance of dental health in children! It's important to establish good oral hygiene as a young child, and help prevent future dental problems down the line. Below are some statistic on children's dentistry:

- 3 out of every 5 children are affected by tooth decay
- Tooth Decay is 5 times more common than asthma
- 16 million lack access to basic dental care
- 51 million school hours missed due to oral disease
- Every $1 spent on prevention in oral car can save you $8-$50 on restorative emergency procedures
- 2 is too late! Take your child to see a dentist before age 1
