How Can a Crown Help Your Teeth?

Do you need a tooth restored to its original shape and size? All Brite Dental can help you with a tooth crown (cap) procedure. Porcelain crowns are the most popular types of crowns, as they are tooth colored, highly durable and will last many years. Porcelain crowns are custom made after molds are taken of your mouth.

Reasons for crowns include:
  • Broken or fractured teeth
  • Cosmetic enhancement
  • Decayed teeth
  • Fractured fillings
  • Large fillings
  • Tooth has a root canal
For more information on the crowning process, visit our Crown Restoration page HERE , or call our location nearest to you!

How Long Should You Brush Your Teeth For?

Brush your teeth for two to three minutes for the best result! It may seem like a long time, but it isn’t. Spend half the time on your top teeth and the other half on your bottom.

To make sure you’re brushing for long enough, use a timer. There are also electric toothbrushes that have built in, self-timers, which will make the process that much easier!

Remember:
  • Use short strokes
  • Brush back and forth
  • Go around every tooth
  • Brush three times a day
  • Don’t forget to floss!
It’s up to you to protect your teeth! Make sure to LIKE our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter!

Healthy Choice of the Week: CELERY!

Healthy Choice of the Week: CELERY!

We all know fruits and vegetables are good for us, but you may not know that certain natural foods are actually healthy for your teeth as well!

Celery, like other vegetables, is good for your teeth because chewing them causes an abundance of saliva, which helps to naturally clean your teeth. Celery is a particularly good choice, because it contains high levels of cellulose, which make your teeth look and feel clean.

Remember that a healthy snack will benefit your teeth as well as your body! Let us know on our Facebook page, what healthy snack you will eat this week!
